ABOUT THE ARTIST

Matthew Reynolds was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Much of his younger life was dedicated to music. After traveling as a musician, he opened a Recording Studio in San Diego, CA and produced albums for 10 years.

Following his music career, Reynolds received a job with one of the largest Art Gallery/Dealers in the country. This is where his true love for art began. To this day, he buys, sells and collects artwork.
Besides a brief study with California artist James Dudley Slay, Reynolds is a self taught artist. Much of his inspiration comes from the early California masters.
In 2020, Reynolds developed a mobile app dedicated to helping amateur and intermediate artists become better at their craft.
